PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS OFFICER | Catholic Medical Mission Board Zambia | Ndola
Position summary: The Procurement & Logistics Officer will ensure efficient and timely procurement of goods and services and consultancies. He/She will play a key role in monitoring and ensuring that all contractors, consultants and suppliers deliver according to the requirements and in a cost-effective manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelors’ Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Logistics Management or any relevant Business Degree
- Management or any relevant Business Degree
- Post graduate qualifications in Supplies Management
- Member of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
- At least 5 years of experience in the supplies and logistics management.
- Knowledge of USAID or PEPFAR guidelines is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of best procurement practices
- Competence in procurement planning
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- High level of integrity
