Executive Chef Job Summary
We are looking for an innovative and experienced executive chef to join our company. The Executive Chef will need to be creative; develop new dishes, determine specials of the day, and put together a menu that feels fresh and exciting to our company’s executive directors and our distinguished guests.
Executive Chef Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating the work responsibilities of the kitchen
- Preparing cold foods
- Keeping stations cleaned and organized
- Following and creating recipes
- Maintaining excellent hygiene
Executive Chef Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in directing kitchen and restaurant
- Willingness to work hard and operate in a team structure
- Diploma or Higher Degree in culinary art and food production
- Knowledge of how to use a wide variety of kitchen equipment
- Refined/ sophisticated palate
- Great culinary imagination
- Specialization in Mediterranean dishes
- Good understanding of food chemistry
- Leadership skills such as leading a team of cooks, teaching line cooks new recipe and managing a kitchen staff
- Strong background in network support and computer applications
