The Human Rights Commission is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions.
Investigations Officer x 1- Salary Grade : HRC F Location: Choma
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must be Zambian with a minimum age of 23 years.
- BA degree in Social Sciences.
- At least 4 years experience in investigations.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Investigations Officer and will be responsible for:
- Carrying out prompt, thorough and impartial investigations in order to ascertain the abuse of human rights.
- Preparing timely and accurate investigation reports in order to facilitate speedy submission.
- Ensuring and undertaking regular visits to prisons and other places of incarceration in order to ensure compliance with International minimum standards.
- Any other related duties as may be requested by the Supervisor.
