Carlcare Service Limited was established in Zambia in 2016 with an aim to provide professional service support to mobile phones and other electronic consumer products, and over the years has become a leading service brand for consumer electronics in Country. Currently, Carlcare is providing full service support for TECNO, Itel & Infinix mobile phone brands. Among other products exists Oraimo for Accessories, Electric Appliances department for Home Appliances as well as Itel Accessories for Itel Accessories

Therefore, Itel Accessories Business Unit Department wishes to invite qualified candidates to fill the position of Training Specialist. The Training Specialist will be required to help the businesses by developing, facilitating and implementing training programs for sales and marketing employees.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.
  • Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.
  • Deploy a wide variety of training methods that will improve productivity.
  • Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions with new staff under sales and marketing.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.
  • Manage training budget.
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development.
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.

Requirements:





  • Qualifications include diploma in adult education or similar; bachelor’s degree will be added advantage.
  • Two years proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting most preferable fast-moving goods or services.
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
  • Proven ability to master the full training cycle.
  • Adequate knowledge of learning management software
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with talent management and succession planning
  • Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
