Pharmacist (or Pharmacy Technician) – Rose Healthcare Corporation

About the Role

Rose Healthcare Corporation (RHC) is looking for a pharmacist to join our distribution hub in Lusaka to oversee the distribution of medicines to pharmacies. The pharmacist will also ensure RHC continually adheres to the regulatory requirements of the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA).

Duties:

• Act as the liaison between RHC and ZAMRA
• Ensure RHC adheres to ZAMRA’s rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practices.
• Work alongside the marketing and client services teams to provide a seamless pharmaceutical distribution service to our pharmacies.
• Managing inventory (warehouse replenishment and distribution to pharmacies)
• Provide input in the development of RHC-Rx, our order management technology platform
• Complete administrative tasks as needed

Person Specification

• Experience of working in a wholesale/pharmaceutical distribution environment is highly desired (but not mandatory)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist in Zambia
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software suites.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
• International professional or academic experience along with fluency in foreign languages will be looked upon favourably
