The Human Rights Commission is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions.
Registry Clerk x 2 – Salary Grade : HRC C Locations: Mansa and Mongu
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must be Zambian with a minimum age of 21 years.
- Must have a full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Must have a Certificate in Records Management or equivalent.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
The successful candidates will report to the Investigations Officer and will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a register of incoming and outgoing mail and receipt of complaints to avoid losses and misdirection.
- Undertaking timely the opening and closing files in order to maintain accurate records.
- Keeping an inventory of closed files in readiness for dispatch to the Archives.
- Circulating open mail and files to actioning Officers in order to avoid delays and leakages.
- Preparing timely complaints statistics in order to facilitate the flow and storage of information.
- Any other related duties as may be requested by the Supervisor.
