Camland Construction Ltd, a subsidiary of CAMCO Group, specializes in the construction of residential houses, Commercial facilities, office and civil works was registered in August 2008. Camland 2R and 2B under National Construction Council Certification. Camland now seeks to appoint suitable candidates for positions of Site Engineers.
1. POSITION: SITE ENGINEERS (04)
Job Purpose:
Monitor of construction contractor progress. Prepare reports and documents. Ensure the protocols, processes and capabilities are in place. Carry out inspections and surveys. Carry out risk assessments. Manage, design, develop, create and maintain varying scales of construction projects in a safe, timely and Sustainable manner. Produce designs and drawings of services including roads, water, draining, electrical and sewer lines. Ensure drawings meet council and government regulations and submit for approvals and certifications. Conduct on site investigations and analyze data. Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up drawings that satisfy technical specifications. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
- Minimum 3 years experience in Civil Engineering Projects
