The interested candidate will be responsible for
- Acts in the absence of the Stores Manager
- Be conversant with all the operations of stores department
- Upload correct inventory levels at the required time in the ERP systems and ensure all inventory processes are completed as per guidelines
- Make timely orders for materials in collaboration with Production Manager
- Collaborate with the Finance department ensuring the timely purchase of raw materials
- Source for raw material suppliers and coordinate delivery
- Conduct inspection for quality of raw material and finished products
- In conjunction with HR office, train stores staff on stores control processes and procedures
- Ensure stock levels are maintained within acceptable ranges for production
- Coordinate and manage stock taking on a weekly basis and prepare stock take report
- Maintain a zero-discrepancy rate of stock in all circle counts
- Ensure the correct dispatch of finished goods and maintain correct records
- Timely preparation of the monthly inventory report
- Ensure workers observe the provided health and safety guidelines within the work environment

EDUCATION
- Grade 12 certificate
- Diploma or higher in Purchasing and Supply
